I saved the peaches for you I ate the plums I ate the kiwi I ate the granny smith apple I even ate an avocado
I put them all on a paper plate, sliced and peeled but I saved both peaches for you |

Her tepid flesh hung loosely off a torso full of sap and sex though the skin-coat remained buttoned carelessly into an epidermal seam The cadaver beneath grew tighter, denser, and more withdrawn with each passing of putrid pity billowing round this loaf of sexed up indifference, the milky kidney-pink jacket fastened at the neck with a bruised brooch Like a girl wearing daddy's blue collar shirt Like a whore wearing her lover's oxford

And as i walk i smell your perfume in the trees relaxing lazily on every shoot and dainty sapling it drips periwinkle purple on teddy bear brown and velveteen green careening and sliding somewhere just short of recklessly along invisible fronds of current just enough to tickle a synase playfully and seductively And as i walk i smell your perfume in the trees

so keep me warm as i sit outside the air is cold but the moon is bright you're all i need tonight so keep me warm
keep me safe don't let me sink i slip so fast and i'm on the brink And i just can't help but think, you could keep me warm
It's so cold But that can't last for long I'm getting old but at least the night is young so keep me warm
Keep me close Don't let me stray My head on your chest is where I would stay From day to perfect day just keep me warm
I'm so afraid That the future's so unclear But with no delay I'll take a future with you near just keep me warm

So this post, and the next few, are some songs or fragments of songs that I've written over the past few months. They're kind of just fun pop songs, but I thought you might like to read them. They'll be clearly labeled with a song fragment subject line
I can't say that, i've changed for the better but i've changed, that's one thing i know and i can't say that, i'll love you forever but i love you right now, so let's go
hop in my car we'll go somewhere far away from here, the moon, or maybe even mars or maybe i'll drive, right into those blue eyes in which i see reflections of the stars
take hold of my hand hold on tight we can't see what's in store for this old fashioned tale of giving in to feelings that scare us, there's no turning back the wind's fierce, and it's time to set sail
i never thought i'd see myself wanting you and noone else limiting, at best, lost, at worst you've got the last drop of hope for a guy like me who's final note is trying to not die of want and thirst

Every inch we're apart Is a foot too far Every breath catching right near the throat
The tensions arise at least in your eyes, and No words need even be spoke
But just what are you wanting from this tension so daunting a release, or a stifled desire?
Because with this distance between our hands can be seen my patience beginning to tire.

At night We fight
In day We play
And I just wish To hear you say

You'll move on, on and on To better things and better places far far beyond horizons that we knew You were always trying to slip backstage, be the one who only needed me And now I'm the one who made you a star who couldn't see why anyone without a reason would try to stay in summer's season for all of time as if they could find something new

As I give thanks for what is mine The wonderous meal on which I dine With harvest come and now behind To God, the glory give
The evidence of his great hand be The gourd on ground, and fruit on tree The dripping combs of honey bee To God, the glory give
Though the weather inclement is We daily reap and sow what's His With every breath and day we live To God, the glory give!
